Aurigen Capital Limited (“Aurigen”) provided risk and capital management solutions to customers, with its core business being the reinsurance of life insurance policies in North America. In 2007, Newlight Partners and a consortium of investors partnered with the former Employers Reassurance Canada management team to develop Aurgien as a de novo platform in the Canadian life reinsurance industry. In 2016, Aurigen was acquired by PartnerRe.
